The Southern Arm Trunk Main project involves the installation of a 5.7 km DN750 Ductile Iron Cement Lined (DICL) water trunk main. This infrastructure upgrade includes the integration of air valves, scour valves, and isolation valves strategically placed along the road corridor and through sections of state forest. Additionally, a 100mm communications conduit has been installed along the entire alignment to enhance communication capabilities.
The works also include pipe jacking the 750mm DICL main through a 100m 1000dia thrust bore under Cowarra creek, and approx. 90m of 610OD welded mild steel pipe through an existing RCP carrier pipe under the Pacific highway.
