In 2021, TCM Civil installed approximately 1600m of DN100 / DN150 Watermain Renewals across 2 main sites on behalf of Muswellbrook Council.
Along with the watermain installation TCM and select group of highly-skilled subcontractors performed live hot-taps of new water-services and the installation of new water services to over 90 houses while managing the use of existing infrastructure, transferring via specific connections into the new infrastructure and the disengagement of the existing system. As well as managing existing infrastructure, a specific creek crossing via suspended DICL FL/FL pipework was installed by TCM’s/ subcontractor crews and major nightworks connecting into Muswellbrook Shopping centre were competed without issue.
Working between TCM Civil and Muswellbrook Council, the project was able to safely and efficiently be completed with the existing contract being met as well as increases in the original scope.
